Workshops & Artist Talks

Workshops, mural participation and artists talks are all community based events that we offer as part of the Greetings Tour. We can set up the mural walls for the public to get engaged and contribute to the painting process. With so many steps to the mural process, so we invite local participation along the way.

Firstly, the design phase can be a group effort, and we welcome lists of imagery ideas. Secondly, the wall preparation includes scrapping peeling paint, power washing and priming the wall with no artistic talent required. Thirdly, we can set up a color by number system for large areas of backgrounds color blocking. We recommend keeping community participation events at ground level to avoid any liability on ladders, lifts, etc. Finally, one of our goals is to educate the public about spray paint being a progressive tool for large scale art. We can provide some lessons on the use of spray paint with tips and techniques.

Mural Workshop Events

Alternatively, we can host off-site team building and community workshops to create smaller scale murals both indoors and outdoors. These events can be catered to all ages and a lot of fun. In the past, we have custom tailored mural art workshops for everyone from local kids in the neighborhood to corporate company events. The artwork can even be painted on temporary wall canvases to be kept & transported. We can provide everything for these workshops including water based paint, brushes, tape, protective equipment (to best of our ability), nozzles, canvases, schedule, design, etc. The average workshop lasts anywhere from 1-3 hours. People get really excited to use spray paint to create large scale art as it’s a rare opportunity.

Artist Talk & Panel Discussions

We have a goal of developing and doing more artists talks when possible. Our journey has been an amazing story to tell and want to share it with the world. We want to inspire others to let them know that they can pursue their passions and make a living out of it. These talks can also be in the preferred format of a Q&A or panel discussion with a host.
